Use of barbecues in the park

Due to the risk of fires in the park the Trustees have regretfully decided that the use of barbecues within the park will no longer be permitted.

This was decided upon given the past experience of serious fires within the park in order to protect the trees and wildlife, and for the safety of park visitors.

In addition it is not allowed to start fires within the park.
