Aims & Objectives

Moseley Park is maintained by Moseley Park and Pool Trust (Registered Charity Number 1115870).

The aims and objectives of Moseley Park and Pool Trust are:

  • To promote, for the benefit of the inhabitants of Birmingham, the provision of facilities for recreation or other leisure-time occupation by restoring, maintaining and promoting Moseley Park and Pool in the interests of social welfare with the object of improving conditions of life of the public; and
  • To advance education in particular, but without limiting the generality of the foregoing, the study of science, natural history, geography, history and environmental education.

We are a small local charity, running a vital community facility in the heart of the local area. The trust ensures essential maintenance work can take place and the park remains safe and secure for park users. We also deliver a programme of community events and activities, including nature workshops, volunteering, mental health support groups, summer fete, and supporting other community groups to use the park to deliver activities.

Our Annual Accounts and Report is submitted each year to the Charity Commission and can be viewed on their website.
