Take inspiration from the natural beauty of the park and explore your creative side in these gentle sessions for adults, which offer a chance to relax and try a different creative activity each time.
Centred on our inclusive woodland activity space, The Glade, and the neighbouring Phoenix Sensory Garden, these workshops will include opportunities to wander further in mindful exploration of the park’s rolling meadows and woodland (as your mobility and the weather allow). Shelter from the sun or rain will be available if needed. Local writer Aisling Caffrey starts us off with sensory nature writing on 9th May 2.30-4pm. If you come along to future sessions, you’ll be able to develop your ideas via photography and print making with a supportive group of fellow participants.
- 9th May: Creative writing with Aisling Caffrey
- 20th June: Photography with Solomon Smith
- 8th August: Print-making with Sarah Moss
- September: Session content to be confirmed
All sessions take place 2.30-4pm and begin in The Glade, which is on the right hand side of the main path as you approach the first tennis court from the main Alcester Rd entrance.
Please book your ‘pay what you feel’ place online if possible here as numbers are limited. If you’re not able to do so, you can either email community@moseleypark.co.uk or turn up on the day and join in if the session isn’t fully booked.
Suggested donation £4 but we want to make sure everyone can join in, so nobody will be turned away for lack off funds. Just choose your donation when you book – and if you’d happily pay more, then please do consider increasing the amount. Every donation makes a really big difference to our work caring for the park and supporting local people.
