An update on the paths

As you will have seen work has taken place in two phases from May to September to improve the pathway from the main Alcester Road gate down towards the lake.

We were keen to make the paths more accessible for many people, as well as improving the appearance of the park.

The final surface has been added to the path but there is still work to do to improve the appearance so the path blends in to its environment. Tarmac was added to the edges as a temporary measure for the duration of the festival. The plan is to remove this and add topsoil and grass seed so the grass comes up to the edge of the path. Work will also be done to improve water run-off down the edge of the path.
