SPRING GREETINGS TO ALL PARK KEY-HOLDERS
We have a crowded few months ahead and we need to keep you informed about what's going on!
Changes in the Park
The most obvious change is that we are planning to demolish the fishermen's hut next to the boathouse (before it falls
down!) and to build a new place for the fishermen behind the tennis club pavilion. This means that we can open up the Dell (the sloping area
behind the fishermen's hut) and restore it as a beautiful corner of the Park instead of the dumping ground it has become in recent years.
Key change
Last summer we were very happy with the smooth operation of changing the keys and locks to the Park. However, for one
reason or another, some of our key holders with out of date keys did not come forward to claim a new key. We just want to remind you that there
is no penalty for changing your key. Of course, if you can't find your old key, then you would need to let Chamberlains have a £7 deposit for
a new one.
Major Events for 2006
- MDCC will be giving us two early-evening performances of "Romeo and Juliet" on Saturday 12th August 17:30-20:30 and Sunday
13th August 16:00-19:00
- Moseley Festival will be putting on Music in the Park over the weekend of 1st-2nd July
- Sadly, L'Esprit Manouche will not take place this year due to lack of funding
